Unity in Prayer, a Harmony of Power

John 17:22-23  Father …I have given them the glory that you gave me, that they may be one as we are one— I in them and you in me—so that they may be brought to complete unity. Then the world will know that you sent me and have loved them even as you have loved me.

I love this passage of Scripture as Jesus speaks of giving us, His people, the glory, the splendor or brightness, which the Father gave Him.  He states that this glory is our unifying force. It is this wonderful glory of God that draws us together. This amazing majesty forms and enables the oneness that is the power that reveals Christ to this world.  What a beautiful truth.

It has been very encouraging for me to see God’s work in bringing His people together in prayer and passion for His presence.  My work with local Churches and pastors, through The Oak, sees me leading, or attending, 3 to 5 prayer ministries each week. The amazing joy that this promise of God brings to me is that as we come together and agree in our prayers on the glory and will of God, great power is released.  As we the family of God come together, we literally invite the power and presence, this majesty of God, to flow through us and in us.  As we listen, to each other and to the Spirit, we invite and increase the flow of heaven’s glory, power and will here on earth.

From this united base of power and formation, God is sending forth laborers.  God is forming these beautiful anointed servants to proclaim in Word and deed the Kingdom of God.   God is drawing together a people full of desperation for His presence, power and will.  He is forming His will in and through them.  These family gatherings, these tribes of faith are releasing the renewal and glory of God into the land.  Won’t you join us?  I encourage you to invite God with, “Here I am Lord, send me.”

May the great glory and majesty of Christ be released through our united obedience to Him!
