Hope and Pray

Hebrew 12:1-2 Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us, 2 fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith. For the joy set before him he endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.

In these difficult days we are in, with so much strife and pain being seen all around us, let’s make a really good set of choices.

Fix your eyes on Jesus today.  God has this world in His hands and Jesus is working in each of these dark places.  We can have a real hope in knowing how Jesus redeems and works in every situation.  His wonderful, horrible cross being the prime example.

1 Thessalonian 5:16-18 Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.

Keep on praying.  One key truth is that God wants to partner with you to release His will in this world.  When the days are dark, we get to release the light.  Every revival and awakening in the history of Christianity started in dark days, and when the saints started to pray very much.

Today, find your hope and joy in fixing your eyes on Jesus and joining Him in the revival He is planning.

Hope and Pray!
