The anonymous quote that I have written above is a clear statement of the truth of prayer.  I want you to read this famous scripture again, 2 Chronicles 7:14, with eyes opened to the importance of your call to partner with the Lord of the universe in prayer:

If my people who are called by my name humble themselves, 

and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, 

then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land.

Take note of that clear, “if” and “then” statement. Reread it again slowly and let the Spirit fill your heart. Dear friends, today is the day to realize this truth.  Get alone with your Father, fall on your knees and cry out for the mercy of God on the Church, on our nation.  There is an answer for the ills of our nation, and it all starts with our humble approach to God in prayer.  Lord, we seek your face!!
