One of the most wonderful things about God is that He is highly compassionate and relational.  He longs to have a deep, personal and loving relationship with each person on earth. But, if God were to reveal Himself to us as He is, we would have no choice but to fall down and adore Him.  He is so big and powerful we would just be literally blown away.  Since He wants a true and loving relationship based on the free will of each person, He has revealed himself in the gentle humility of His Son Jesus.

Prayer is the wonderful pathway that each of us can take to discover more about God and all that He longs to do and be for each of us. Prayer is the genuine freedom that each of us have to talk with, be with and learn more about God.

God created us with the ability to know Him and be known by Him.  Prayer is His wisdom in beginning and growing that relationship.  The purpose of prayer is two way relationship.  If you are a praying person, a true measure of your prayer life should be how much you hear and receive from God in your prayers.  God is looking for a loving relationship with you and He has created a boat load of natural and spiritual gifts to enable us in this two way relationship.
