Ps 46:10 He says, “BE STILL AND KNOW that I am God;

I will be exalted…

 

Matt 11:28 “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I WILL GIVE YOU REST.

 

Phil 4:6-7 Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. AND THE PEACE OF GOD, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

 

I wanted to paint a picture today of the nature of our God.  He is never anxious, in a hurry or stressed.  He invites us to pause, to come to Him. He has us in each and every situation.  I wanted to encourage each of you to focus on loving relationship with Christ.  In those moments of rest, His person and presence will comfort, carry, redeem and renew you.  It is in prayerful, personal interaction with our Savior, that true life, rest and peace are found.  May the Lord, who is love, reveal and renew you in His gracious peace.
